Swachch Bharat Pakhwada was observed at Jhabban Lal Dav Public School with great enthusiasm from 1st to 15th September 2018. The plethora of activities were planned for classes LKG to XI to create awareness about Swachchta Mission.On the day 1 a pledge was administered to the students.They took a pledge to keep their environment clean.
News Paper bags were made by the students of class VIII and given to parents to encourage and inspire them for using paper bags/ cloth bags.
Tree plantation drive was carried out by students of class X.
E-Waste was collected by the students of various classes and handed over to e- recyclers for safe disposal.
Poem recitation competition on the topic "Say no to Plastic Pollution" was held for class VII.
Slogan and poster making competition on the topic Protection of Ozone Layer was held for class X& Xl
Students of LKG to II were taught proper method of hand washing , cutting and keeping nails clean .
Cleanliness Drive was carried out by students of class VI to XI. Bulletein Boards were decorated with photographs, cartoons, slogans, paintings etc on the topic Swachch Bharat.
Students of class III to V were made aware of various safe storage methods of drinking water. Teachers and students planned simple water harvesting structure in school.
Students got an opportunity to learn about the importance of cleanliness during this Pakhwada.
